UPDATE 05 JULY 2024
OVERTIME:
Part-time employees are now entitled to overtime pay for work performed outside the designated span of hours. The span of hours is depicted in my post about penalty rates below.


ROSTERS: Rosters an employee works 6 days in one week of a 2-week roster cycle, then the employee can only work ordinary hours on a maximum of 4 days in the other week of that cycle.

Previously, the week of up to 4 days had to follow the week of 6 days.



Note:
The below depicts the rules regarding the application of ordinary hours and penalty rates in the General Retail Industry Award 2020, specific to general retailers, that do not engage in late night shopping.
